A concert to benefit the veterans charity A Soldier’s Heart is Friday and Saturday, September 6 and 7 at Kenlake State Resort Park in Aurora. WCBL’s Chris Freeland sat down recently on Coffee Call to talk to some of the organizers of the event. Gates will open Friday at 5 with the show beginning at 6. Saturday the gates open at 11 am with the show running from noon until midnight. A $10 donation is asked, but you are welcome to donate more. There will also be a silent auction, kayak raffle and food trucks. Some of the performers include Josh Williams, Josh Johnson, Craig Russell, Tony Logue, The McKendrees and many others.
