Today is a big day in J&R Pharmacy’s History Books! They started off the day in Draffenville with their Groundbreaking for their complex that will be approximately 11,000 square feet and house up to 4 additional businesses surrounding their Draffenville Pharmacy! As of right now, they already have 2 neighbors that will be joining them: Mercy Health Lourdes Walk-In Clinic and Chick’ncone of West Kentucky! This new complex will be located between Food Giant and CFSB on HWY 68 E.
After several photo opportunities at the site of the new facility, everyone headed over to the Benton location for Customer Appreciation Day! J&R Pharmacy is Celebrating 65 Years in Business this Month, which they could not have done without the community supporting them from day 1. The entire family wanted to express their thanks and gratitude to everyone throughout Marshall County and they can not wait to open their Draffenville location to better serve you.
There was another Celebration going on today as well…..today is Jim’s 90th Birthday! Most days you will still see him behind the pharmacy counter working. How amazing is that?! They were flooded with so many people coming to see them today with well wishes and birthday wishes for Jim (aka Gran Gran). So many stories were shared today, and a few tears shed as well. The food was amazing and they mentioned they got to see people that they hadn’t seen in several years too!
