Mrs. Arthur Lene “Art” Herndon, age 84, of Cuba, KY passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY.
She was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church, a member of Eastern Star, a member of the Red Hat Club and a retired employee of Merit Clothing Company.
Mrs. Herndon is survived by one daughter, Belinda (Kenny) Hamlet of Mayfield, KY; one brother, Walon Tim (Tina) Hicks of Sedalia, KY; one sister, LaDonna (Sam) Davis of Boaz, KY; and one grandson, Jonathan (Katie) Hamlet of Hardeeville, SC.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Herndon; one sister, Nettie Ruth Hicks; and her parents, Arthur T. and Jeanette Golden Hicks.
Funeral services for Mrs. Arthur Lene “Art” Herndon will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Debbie Williams will officiate. Interment will follow at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at the funeral home.
