Don C. Benfield, 69, of Gilbertsville, Kentucky, died Sunday, July 28, 2019, at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Melissa Benfield of Gilbertsville. Three daughters, Heather Benfield of Louisville, Kentucky; Amber Walker of Louisville, Kentucky; and Hannah Grimes of St. Louis, Missouri. One brother, Max Benfield of North Charleston, South Carolina; one sister, Helen Sigmon of Hickory, North Carolina; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Jacob Benfield and Pheribee Icard; and one brother-in-law.
Memorial services are planned for later date. Lindsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
