Arlin “Sonny” Hartman, age 80, of Paducah passed away at 5:22 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2019 at his home. Sonny was a member of Oaks Church of God and a native of Philo, OH. Sonny was retired as former owner of Hartman’s Truck Service. He was a veteran of U.S. Army where he was a paratrooper and enjoyed talking about that experience. Sonny enjoyed his family and especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sonny loved to tease and pick at his friends and everyone who knew him knew… he had a donkey.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Jean Styers Hartman; two daughters, Angela (Brian) Bone, Clarissa Hartman both of Paducah; one son, Jeff (Ronda) Hartman, Boaz, KY; four sisters, Mary Lou Coen, “Bib” (Emmett) Frazier, Wava Shuster and Beulah Durst; three brothers, Carl (Sue) Hartman, Dan (Phyllis) Hartman, Wayne (Gladys) Hartman; three grandchildren, Fayth (Colton) Duncan, Raygan Hartman, Brady Bone; five great-grandchildren, Aiden, William, Asher, Xander, Carlee and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding in death was his parents, Forrest Leonard Hartman & Clarice May Trout Hartman; three sisters, Donna Lutz, Freda Woodard and Ruth Grable,
Services will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Brother Richard Dobbs and Brother Jim Glover officiating.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 15, 2019 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
