Mrs. Sue Wade Pinkston Hawks, age 82, of Lynnville passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY.
She was a member of Cuba Church of Christ and a homemaker.
Mrs. Hawks is survived by three sons, Kerry Wade Pinkston of Murray, KY, Terry Raymond “Ray” (Linda) Pinkston of Palm Harbor, FL and Henry Thomas (Teresa) Hawks of Dukedom, TN; two daughters, Anita Pinkston (Brad) Jones of Mayfield, KY and Velva Jean Hawks (Roy Lee) Guthrie of Graves Co., KY; seven grandchildren, Terry Pinkston II, Jasmyn Pinkston, Janet Pinkston (Ben) Hummell, Jason Bennett, Khristian Williams Perrine, Katie Williams (Dustin) Draper and Karalee Guthrie; and fifteen great grandchildren, Kaden Faust, Colin Perrine, Ryleigh Perrine, Kamden Williams, Keegan Williams, Aiden Draper, K.J. Allen, Amaiya Celadilla, JaKya Allen, Jamary Pinkston, Lilin Pinkston, Terry Pinkston III, Elsa Walton, Ryder Pinkston and Raymond “Ray Ray” Pinkston.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond Elwood Pinkston; her second husband, Velva Leon Hawks, Jr.; one son, George Randall “Randy” Pinkston; one brother, George Wade; and her parents, Herman and Hattie Workman Wade.
Funeral services for Mrs. Sue Wade Pinkston Hawks will be 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Will McSweeney will officiate. Interment will follow at Acree Cemetery in Austin Springs, TN.
Pallbearers will be Michael Gilley, Dylan Draper, George Workman, Dale Towery, Michael Foy and Joe Dan Morris.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at the funeral home.
