Ms. Roberta Alford, age 77, of Murray, Kentucky died at 1:42pm Saturday, June 29, 2019 at the Spring Creek Health Care Center, Murray, Kentucky.
Ms. Alford was born September 1, 1941 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Rose Louise Steimel and Robert Charles Kelley, Sr. She was also preceded in death by her son, Keith Allen Murphy and brother, Robert Charles Kelley, Jr.
She is survived by her two daughters, Laurie Ann Murphy, Murray and Tina Louise Kendall (Mark), New Concord; one daughter/granddaughter, Shantel Murphy-Scott (Ron Reed), Hazel; three sons, Kevin Lee Murphy, St. Louis, MO, Allen Thomas Murphy (Janice), St. Louis, MO, and Brian Gerard Scott (Chasity), Valles Mines, MO; one sister, Ruth Isabel Chunn, Doniphan, MO; eighteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 11:00am Saturday, July 6, 2019 at the Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home with Bro. Hal Barrow officiating. Burial will follow in the Haymes Cemetery, Hardin, Kentucky and friends may visit from 5:00pm to 8:00pm Friday at the Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home.
