MCHS track athletes selected to All-Area 1 and Class AAA teams

Cade Flatt led the Marshall County track program with the most first team selections. All-Area 1 First Team in the 400 and 800 meters and Class AAA First Team in the 800 meters and high jump.

Several Marshall County High School track and field athletes landed on the All-Area 1 and All-Area Class AAA first and second teams for the 2019 season. Both Marshall County coaches were selected Class AAA Coaches of the Year – girl’s head coach Cory Westerfield and boy’s head coach Andrew Johnston. Area 1 Coach of the Year for both girls and boys is Paducah Tilghman’s Randy Wyatt.

Tori McCracken made both the All-Area 1 and Class AAA First Teams in the high jump. McCracken is the Class AAA high jump state champion.
Sydney Temple made the All-Area 1 and Class AAA First Team in the pole vault.
