Mr. Kenny Lane Wade, age 77, of Mayfield passed away peacefully on Friday, June 14, 2019 at his residence.
He was a member of Seven Oaks Church of Christ and the retired former owner of Wade Farm Financial Services. He was a graduate of University of Kentucky and attended the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Mr. Wade was a former teacher at Morehead State University and Murray State University and Vice President of Production Credit Association in Mayfield.
Mr. Wade is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jerilyn Colley Wade; two sons, Robert (Brenda) Wade and David (Laura) Wade both of Huntsville, AL; one daughter, Penny Wade (Rob) Smith of South Fulton, TN; one brother, Andy (Laura) Wade of Bowling Green; and eleven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Lela Mae Oliver Wade.
Funeral services for Mr. Kenny Lane Wade will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 17, 2019 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Josh Ketchum and Andy Wade will officiate. Interment will follow at Highland Park Cemetery.
His grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at the funeral home.
