Steven James Pierce, age 2, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019 as a flash flood victim at Cummins Falls State Park in Jackson County, TN.
He is survived by parents, Curtis James Pierce and Hannah Mae Stamps Pierce of Eddyville; sister, Martha Sarahfaye Pierce of Eddyville; maternal grandfather, Michael Stamps and wife, Julie of Eddyville; maternal grandmother, Deanna French and husband, Greg of Hickory, KY; paternal grandfather, Weldon Pierce of Calvert City; paternal grandmother, Rose Rudolph and husband, Linn of Eddyville; maternal great-grandmothers, Barbara Oliver of Eddyville, Charma Lewis of Paducah; maternal great-grandfather, Fred Lewis of Paducah; paternal great-grandparents, James and Velda Pierce of Calvert City; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfathers, Willie Stamps, Sr. and Jim Oliver; paternal grandmother, Sarah York.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Lakeland Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 14, 2019 at Lakeland Funeral Home with Bro. Robin Redd and Bro. Carl Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Calvert City Cemetery.
