Mr. Lloyd K. Green, Jr., age 99, of Hickory, KY passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at his residence.
He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church for 94 years, a retired employee of the United States Postal Service and a WWII US army veteran.
Mr. Green is survived by four sons, Larry T. (Carolyn Sue) Green of Mayfield, KY, Jack (Sue) Green of Englewood, FL, Freddie Green of Mayfield, KY and Kerry (Marie) Green of Mayfield, KY; one daughter, Mary Frances Cummings of Brentwood, TN; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Allis Sullivan Green; one sister, Juanita Green; and his parents, Lloyd K. and Maxie Tate Green, Sr.
Funeral services for Mr. Lloyd K. Green, Jr. will be 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Steve Cavitt will officiate. Interment will follow at Trinity Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Shayne Green, Craig Green, Joe David Green, Chad Work, Sean Wilson and Hunter Henson.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at the funeral home.
