I know we have ALL been to that one Specialist office that we just wish we had not waisted our time of sitting in the waiting room for an hour to only be “talked to” and no one listened to what you had to say. I have to say that after a few visits to the Orthopedic Institute’s Pain Center in Paducah to see both a Doctor and Nurse Practitioner before getting injections in my back, their staff is second to none! From the time you walk in the door, they are very welcoming and helpful. The nurses listen to your answers to their questions and so do the doctors and nurse practitioners. They understood exactly what I told them and immediately set me up for a new MRI at their facility, which was also an easy experience. They are all very passionate about their jobs and truly care about their patients.
While this is not normally something that I would write about, I feel like it is something you rarely see now and I wanted to post something POSITIVE. Most reviews about Doctor’s offices are the negative things….long wait times, they don’t listen, etc. I have to say that is definitely not the case with this group. Going for my first injections I was very nervous, but they were very understanding and made sure that they explained everything and that I was comfortable.
In closing, I will say if you ever have a need for this group, Dr. Lindenberg, Dr. Ruxer and their entire staff will take excellent care of you and get you back on track as best they can!
