The Kentucky Junior Rodeo Association (KJRA) Finals were held at the Muhlenburg County Ag Expo Center this weekend.  Benton siblings, Brooke and Mason Elder, have both worked very hard this season in their numerous competitions!  In addition to her rodeo competitions, Brooke also entered in the KJRA Queen Competition and was crowned 1st Runner-up!

Brooke and her horse Vegas placed 1st in Barrel Racing, 4th in Pole Racing, 5th in Goat Tying, 5th in Breakaway Roping, and she also placed 3rd in Ribbon Roping.

Mason placed 1st in Steer Riding, 3rd in Chute Dogging, 5th in Goat Tying, and 6th in Breakaway Roping.  He also received both the Jake Hodge Award and Sportsmanship Award!

They have worked very hard to achieve these results and their parents work even harder to make sure they get them and their horses to every rodeo ready to compete!  If you see them out, be sure to congratulate them on their achievements this season.
