Mr. Harold L. Gass, age 71, of Symsonia, KY passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2019, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY. He was a member of Scotts Chapel Methodist Church in Tiline, KY. He also loved to shoot guns, hunt, go fishing, participate in Civil War reenactments and was an artist.
Born Saturday, August 16, 1947 in Evansville, IN, he was the son of the late Hubert Gass and the late Alma (Oost) Gass.
Surviving are his son, Kevin Cissell of Symsonia, KY; brother, Floyd Gass, wife Cindy of Spring City, TN; and sister, Sue Gass of Tiline, KY.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years, Shelia (Waldrop) Gass.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Collier Funeral Home with Mr. Floyd Gass officiating.
Interment will follow the service in Bolton Cemetery, Symsonia, KY.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, May 27, 2019, at Collier Funeral Home located at 211 West 5th. St. Benton, KY 42025.
