Mark George Atherton, 68, of Paducah passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at River Haven Nursing & Rehab in Paducah.
Mr. Atherton was formerly an insurance agent for Combined Insured and a member of Heartland Church. He enjoyed watching the Chicago Bears and playing his guitars.
Surviving is his daughter, Megan (Joseph) Reed of Hardin; three sisters, Sharon Paris, Naomi Hines, Carol Paske; and three grandchildren, Bethany Reed, Seth Reed, and Micah Reed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Blanche Atherton; and one sister, Linda Robins.
He will be cremated, and the family will hold memorial services at a later date.
