Mr. John Michael “Porky” Baker, 62 of Benton, KY died on Saturday, May 18, 2019, at Trigg County Hospital.
Born Wednesday, April 10, 1957 in Benton, KY, he was the son of the late Elvin Baker and the late Gracie (Fulks) Baker.
He was a truck driver and enjoyed camping, hunting, and riding his mule, Jasper. He was a member of Kirksey Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Judy (Lax) Baker of Benton, KY; son, Chris Boren of Benton, KY; daughters, Heather Largent husband Tom of Lone Oak, KY, Stacey Myers husband Kevin of Paducah, KY, Jeannie Hillen of Benton, KY; brothers, Robert Baker of Benton, KY, Kenneth Baker of Benton, KY; sister, Carolyn Dedmon of Benton, KY; grandchildren, Jesilyn Driver, Michael Largent, Gracie Largent, Sloan Boren, Laken Largent; and great grandchildren, Tatum Costa and Tripp Burkeen.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Novella Collins.
A graveside service will be at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Birmingham Cemetery in Benton, KY with the Rev. Van Russell and Rev. Charles LaChance officiating.
Interment will follow the service.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th Street, Benton, KY 42025
