Betty Dyke, 88, of Benton, KY passed away Monday, May 6, 2019 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY.
Betty was a long time member of Briensburg Baptist Church, as well as, an owner of D.C. Electric Inc. where she spent many years working as the office manager. She was very passionate about sewing and volunteering. She assisted with the Kentucky Baptist Disaster Relief, the Kentucky Changers, and participated in multiple mission trips.
She is survived by her two daughters, Patti and Ralph Messamore of Benton, KY and Kathy and Garry Smith of Benton, KY; two sons, Johnny and Gail Dyke of Benton, KY and Danny and Tracy Dyke of Benton, KY; eight grandchildren, Amy Bevil, Melissa Elrod, Marcus Smith, Mallory Fagan, Lane Dyke, Lance Dyke, Landon Dyke, and Lincoln Dyke; 8 great grandchildren, Meg Bevil, Abby Bevil, A.J. Bevil, Ty Elrod, Karli Elrod, Dax Elrod, Greyson Dyke, and Parker Smith; two brothers, Billy York of Benton, KY and Jerry York of Benton, KY.
She was preceded in death by her husband, of 59 years, John W. Dyke; one daughter, Linda Dyke; one brother, Jimmie York; and her parents, Bill York and Lois Butler York.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Briensburg Baptist Church with Bro. Monte Hodges officiating and burial will follow at Briensburg Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour at Briensburg Baptist Church.
