Janet Winge, 86

Mrs. Janet Louise Winge, age 86 of Dexter, Kentucky passed away peacefully at her home on April 8, 2019.

She was born October 21,1932 in Franklin, Ohio the only child of Nicolas and Katherine Buchman.

Her loving husband Merle Winge preceded her in death in 2015. An avid cheerleader, she graduated from Bowling Green High School in Bowling Green, Ohio where she studied dance under the tutelage of American actress Eva Marie Saint that spawned a lifetime interest in dance and music. She met her husband Merle while working in retailing in Canton, Illinois. After marriage the couple moved to East Peoria, Illinois where they worked as caretakers of a large estate for many years before moving to Dexter in 1984. She was well loved by her community and will be remembered for her outgoing spirit and love of her cats.

She is survived by one son David Fuller of San Francisco, California, one daughter, Diana Fuller of Dexter, Kentucky, two stepdaughters Jenni Aho of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Elena Pearl of Ellicott City, Maryland, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

There will be a memorial celebration held in her and Merle’s honor on May 26, 2019, please inquire with family for details.
