Nella Jean Dexter, 93 of Paducah, KY died on Sunday, February 24, 2019, at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY.Born Sunday, December 13, 1925 in Benton, KY, she was the daughter of the late Edgar Karnes and the late Gladys Cox Karnes. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of Bethel Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Gayle Townsend husband Robert of Paducah, KY; son, Robert Dexter wife Cheryl of Tupelo, MS; two brothers, Frank Karnes wife Linda of Reidland, KY, Paul Karnes wife Betty of Gilbertsville, KY; four grandchildren, Erin Johnston, Charlie Dexter, Samuel Dexter, Lucy Dexter; and two great grandchildren, Payton Fowler and Dexter Cannela.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Carol Dexter.
A graveside service will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Marshall Co. Memory Gardens located at Hwy U.S. 641 North Benton, KY 42025 with the Rev. Charlie Canup officiating.
Interment will be in Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton, KY.
There will be no public visitation.
