Dear Parents,
Believe it or not, it will be time for another school year to begin before we know it! We would love to have the opportunity to begin getting to know the kindergarten students that will be joining us in August! We would also love to give those students an opportunity to become familiar with the school and the faculty and staff. We will be providing information to the families about helping their sons/ daughters to be prepared for this exciting transition!!
If you do not have children of this age but have friends or relatives that do, please pass this information along as we try to get the word out about our “Ready, Set, GO” nights.
Children who will turn 5 by August 1, 2018 and will attend Central Elementary are eligible to attend our “Ready, Set, GO” transition nights. We plan for students to attend all three nights. (If you cannot attend all three, please join us for the ones that you can attend) Each night will include:
- A snack
- Fun and Educational Activity stations for the upcoming students
- Tips and suggestions for you to help your child with kindergarten readiness
- A chance to become more familiar with the building and the faces of Central Elementary School
The Schedule for Ready, Set, GO nights:
#1 Get Ready: Thursday, February 21, 5:30-7:30pm
#2 Get Set: Thursday, April 25, 5:30-7:30pm
#3 GO!: Will be held prior to the beginning of school in late July/ early August and will be set when the 2019-2020 school calendar is determined.
