Mrs. Wilma Sue Holland, age 80 of Gilbertsville, KY died on Thursday, January 17, 2019, at Oakview Nursing and Rehab in Calvert City, KY. She was retired from the Marshall County Road Department where she worked as a secretary, and she also drove a school bus for the Marshall County School System. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Born Tuesday, May 31, 1938 in Pickwick, TN, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Shipman and the late Mary (Mayhall) Shipman.
Surviving are her husband, John Ward Holland of Gilbertsville, KY, son, Steve Holland, wife Lisa of Calvert City, KY; and 3 grandchildren, Peyton Holland, Madison Holland, and Keaton Holland.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Lee Terry.
A Graveside Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Bethel Cemetery with Rev. Lynn McWherter officiating.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2019 at Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY.
