Mr. Joe Ronald Lassiter, age 71, of Murray, Kentucky died Tuesday, January 1, 2018 in Louisville, Kentucky.
Mr. Lassiter was born July 10, 1947 in Calloway County, Kentucky to the late David Elbert Lassiter and Viola Irene Garner Lassiter. He was also preceded in death by his brother, James Lassiter and sisters, Delores McDougal, Rubene Bean, Virginia Kirks, and Peggy Davis.
He is survived by his daughters, Merry Ann Lassiter and Polly Hines; sons, Joe Garrett Lassiter and Tony Lassiter; sisters, Dollie Hash, Mattie Ann Tripp, and Linda Houston.
The funeral service will be at 2:00pm Friday, January 4, 2018 at the Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home with John Dale officiating. Burial will be in the Murray Memorial Gardens and friends may visit the family after 11:00am Friday at the Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home.
