The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office would like to inform the public of a modified tax collection period beginning January 2nd. The office will suspend tax collection January 2nd through January 4th for the Department of Revenue to finalize tax receipts collected by Sheriff Kevin Byars. We will resume tax collection on January 7th with Sheriff Eddie McGuire. As always, you may leave your taxes in the box beside our front door and they will be processed on the 7th. January’s collection period will be extended appropriately. We appreciate your patience during this transition. Please contact the Sheriff’s Office with any questions.
