Louise Shemwell, 90 of Benton, KY died on Friday, December 7, 2018, at Lake Way Nursing & Rehabilitation in Benton, KY.
Born Thursday, December 8, 1927 in Symsonia, KY, she was the daughter of the late Joe Reeder and the late Novella (Reeves) Reeder. She was the wife of the late Raven Shemwell.
She was a homemaker and a member of New Harmony Baptist Church.
Surviving are son, Doug Shemwell of Benton, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Lewis Reeder.
A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, December 10, 2018 at Collier Funeral Home located at 211 West 5th Benton, KY 42025 with the Rev. Scott Penick officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Benton, KY.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the service time of 1:00 PM on Monday, December 10, 2018, at Collier Funeral Home.
