Mrs. Vada Mae Patterson, age 76 of Hardin, KY passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018, at Lake Way Nursing & Rehabilitation in Benton, KY. She was a homemaker, loved gardening and being with family.
Born Monday, April 27, 1942 in Benton, KY, she was the daughter of the late John Otis Butler and the late Bonnie Mae (Collie) Butler.
Surviving are her husband of 10 years, James Patterson of Hardin, KY, son, Owen Randy Henderson of Hardin, KY, daughters, Becky Wray of West Paducah, KY and Zelda Johnson of Smithland, KY; 6 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was prededed in death by her parents, 1st husband, Owen Henderson, daughter, Ronda Powell Gorham, brothers, Earl Butler and Otis Lee Butler, and sister, Mary Sue Butler.
A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Rev. Wayne Hopkins officiating.
Interment will follow in the Unity Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY.
