Hoopfest begins Thursday, 28 games Nov. 29-Dec. 4

The 22nd Annual Marshall County Hoopfest kicks off Thursday with the first game tipping off at 4:00 pm between Graves County and Massac County. Game two of the first session is between the Graves County girls and Trinity Whiteville. The final two games Thursday feature the Lady Marshals against Massac County and the Marshals in the final game against Trigg County.

Friday’s second session begins at 4:00 with Tennessee Prep taking on Our Savior Lutheran, NY, the first of four games that concludes with Aspire Academy, KY against Prolific Prep, CA.

The Lady Marshals kick off the four-game morning session Saturday in a 9:00 game against Lakeway Christian, TN. The Saturday evening session features five games that begin at 4:00 with the Marshals taking on Pendleton County, KY in the 8:30 game.

Tanager Sports features three games on Sunday starting at 1:30 and eight games on Monday and Tuesday will feature high level post grad players. Complete six-day schedule below.

Just a few of the players to watch, UK commit Dontaie Allen with Pendleton County, KY will play against the Marshals in Saturday’s 8:30 game, hoping for a match-up with Zion Harmon but the recent decision by the KHSAA to uphold their August ruling of Harmon’s eligibility leaves the five-star sophomore on the sidelines for now.

Memphis East will feature James Wiseman, a Memphis commit, playing in the 7:00 game Saturday against Currie, IL. D.J. Jeffries, a former UK commit now heading to Memphis, will play in the noon game Saturday when his Olive Branch team takes on Scott County, last year’s Kentucky state runner-up.

UHA’s KyKy Tandy who has committed to Xavier University, will play in Friday’s 5:30 game against Callaway, MS. Before that tip-off, the 4:00 game Friday will feature Tennessee Prep Ole Miss commit Anatavion Collum against Our Savior Lutheran, NY.

Avid Hoopfest fans will notice the absence of national powerhouse Oak Hill Academy who has game commitments on Friday at home and Saturday in the Battle of the Rock.
