Jerry C. Wynn, 82, of Benton, KY left this earth on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center of Paducah, KY.
He was a native of Lyon County, a Korean War Veteran of the US Air Force, serving 1954 – 1958 at Nellis Air Force Base, a member of Briensburg Missionary Baptist Church and a member of Carpenters Local 357 of Paducah. After retirement he remained active recycling aluminum, copper and catalytic converters.
He was preceded in death by parents Norval and Mary Pearl Wynn of Lyon County, brothers Harold and Val Wynn.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years Sue Culp Wynn, two sons Doug Wynn (Vicki) of Benton, KY and Randy Wynn (Susie) of Huntsville, AL; 5 grandchildren; Greg Wynn, Heather Hall, Randi Beth Binkley, Nathan Wynn and Sandi Holman and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Collier Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY.
Interment will follow in the Provine Cemetery, Benton, KY.
