Mrs. Kathleen Wyatt, 78 of Benton, KY died on Friday, November 16, 2018, at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY. She was a hairdresser and a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church.
Born Tuesday, May 28, 1940 in Benton, KY, she was the daughter of the late Dallas Rose and the late Mary Helen Parker Gregory. She was the wife of the late Rho Dean “Cotton” Wyatt.
She is survived by her daughter, Deana Burkeen husband Tim of Mayfield, KY; brother, John Ed Rose of Benton, KY; sisters, Lucy Yates of Mayfield, KY, Daletta Smothers of Benton, KY; son in law, Randy Stafford of Benton, KY; three grandchildren, Jennifer Coleman (Ryan) of Columbus, OH, Amanda Coil (Justin) of Benton, KY, Deidra Berg (Alex) of Chicago, IL; and two great grandchildren, Tyler Clapp and Avery Coleman.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Rho Dean “Cotton” Wyatt; her parents, her step father, William Gregory, step mother, Mabel Rose; daughter, Dwanna Stafford; brother, Donald Rose; and sister, Brenda Hall.
A Funeral service will be at 11:30 AM on Monday, November 19, 2018 at Collier Funeral Home located at 211 West 5th Benton, Kentucky 42025 with the Bro. Joel Frizzell officiating.
Interment will follow in Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton, KY.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, November 18, 2018, at Collier Funeral Home.
