On the heals of a very successful season, the Marshall County cross country team placed four athletes on the All Area 1 Second Team. They are Mason Cosner, Christian Cosner, Ethan McCarty and Gabbi Lovett. The boy’s team placed five on the All Area 1 Class 3A Second Team, taking five of the top six spots and they are Ethan McCarty, Christian Cosner, Samuel Lanham, Mason Cosner and Knox Sandlin. Gabbi Lovett and Alexia Minter for the girl’s team, also earned All Area 1 Class 3A Second Team selections.
Ethan McCarty was named All Area 1 Middle School Runner of the Year. Kobey Yates and Addison Lyles were selected to the All Area 1 Middle School Second Team.
