UPDATE: KSP Searching for Escaped Inmate from Fulton County

Hickory, KY (September 5, 2018) – Escapee Timothy R. Richardson was apprehended in Mayfield following a pursuit that initiated in Fulton County on the Purchase Parkway.  The Kentucky State Police was able to utilize stop sticks which deflated the tires of Richardson’s vehicle.  Richardson was taken into custody by the Graves County Sheriff’s Department for the pursuit and will have additional charges on him.  KSP has charged Richardson with Escape 2nd, Theft by Unlawful Taking –Auto $10,000 or more.  Other charges are expected as the investigation continues. 

Trooper John Holt is continuing the investigation. UPDATE: Hickman, KY (September 5, 2018) – The Kentucky State Police is continuing their investigation into the escape of Timothy R. Richardson.  KSP found his jail clothes outside of the jail and believe he is now wearing an unknown type of civilian clothing.  Richardson is possibly wearing a pair of Nike tennis shoes, gray in color.  Richardson has previously been convicted of auto theft, so KSP is encouraging everyone to ensure they lock their cars and to immediately report any unusual activity in the area.

Richardson was working on a kitchen work detail for the jail and disappeared from the detail around 3:55 a.m. Fulton County Dispatch notified KSP of the escape at approximately 04:20 a.m.  Richardson, 34 of Shepherdsville, KY is described as a white male, 5’11”, weighing approximately 190 pounds, brown hair, and hazel eyes, normally wears glasses, has a beard and numerous tattoos over his body.

Richardson should be considered dangerous if anyone has contact with him or sees him, do not try to approach him, contact law enforcement immediately. Hickman, KY (September 5, 2018) – The Fulton County Detention Center staff contacted the Kentucky State Police Post 1 in Mayfield at approximately 0425 a.m. in reference to an inmate that escaped from their facility today.

Timothy R. Richardson, 34 of Shepherdsville, KY is described as a white male, 5’11”, he weighs approximately 190 pounds, brown hair, and hazel eyes, normally wears glasses, has a beard and has numerous tattoos over his body.   Richardson was wearing a blue detention clothing.  Richardson is a state inmate serving time for various charges to include Wanton Endangerment 1st degree on a Police Officer, Fleeing and Evading, Auto Theft, and various drug charges.

Richardson should be considered dangerous if anyone has contact with do not try to approach him, contact law enforcement immediately.
