According to story on WPSD, Wednesday, August 1st, Marshall County Judge Executive Kevin Neal has been appointed to the Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services.
Judge Executive Kevin Neal will represent the state’s judge executives on the board. His term on the board will expire on Sep. 19, 2021.
Gov. Matt Bevin appointed Neal to the board, and the announcement came from the governor’s office on Wednesday. The board regulates EMS licenses and it is responsible for making sure all licensed and certified EMS workers in Kentucky follow the state’s code of conduct emergency services.
Others appointed to the board include Procarent/Yellow Ambulance paramedic Robbie Smither of Shelbyville, Lincoln County EMS Executive Director Ashley Powell of Eubank and Governor’s Office of Agriculture Policey staffer Tracey Park of Eminence. Park is also a registered nurse.
