Mrs. Frances Marie Cox, age 93 of Benton, KY passed away Monday, July 30, 2018, at Calvert City Convalescent Center in Calvert City, KY.
Born Thursday, October 9, 1924 in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of the late Otto Loranger and Ida (Kaski) Loranger. She was a “Rosie the Riveter” working at Ford Motor Company during World War II building aircraft, she was a homemaker, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a great great-grandmother. She was a member of the River of Grace Fellowship Church, Benton, KY.
Surviving are her children; Norma Jean (David-Deceased) Morrison of Port Huron, MI, Don Cox of PA, Ron (Sue) Cox of Gilbertsville, KY, Gerry Cox (deceased), Jann Cox (deceased) and Luanne (Doug) Cox of Benton, KY, daughter-in-law, Ann Cox. 10 grandchildren; Anita Nemitz, Nancy Gee, Jeffrey Blair, Kristen Blair, Ronnie Cox, Jad Cox (deceased), Anissa Ramage, Siddhartha Cox, Sara Dittman and Chelsea Free. Also, 20 plus great-grandchildren, one, Alec Zander Cox (deceased), 15 plus great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 53 years, Roscoe Cox, 1 son, 1 daughter, 1 grandson, 1 great-grandson, 4 sisters, Judy Janek, Gini Dansby, Doris Kotick, and Faith Boehringer.
The will be no public visitation or public funeral services held for Mrs. Cox.
