KSP Seeking Public’s Help in Finding Wanted Man

Hickory, KY (July 25, 2018) – The Kentucky State Police Post 1 is seeking the public’s help in finding Jonathan D. Mahan, 35 of Melber, KY. Mr. Mahan is described as a white male, standing 6 feet tall and weighing 175 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

Mr. Mahan is wanted by the Kentucky State Police for 10 counts of Criminal Abuse 1st Degree child under 12 years of age, Assaulting a Police Officer, Resisting Arrest, 4th degree Domestic Assault and other charges out of Graves County. He was indicted by a Graves County Grand Jury in 2017 on those charges. Mr. Mahan failed to show up for his court appearance on January 8, 2018.

On February 2nd, 2018, Mr. Mahan was reported missing by his sister. According to her, he was last heard from on or about January 28th 2018. His vehicles were located at his home, but he has been known to hitchhike. KSP has searched the post 1 area for him along with KSP Post 10, and 11 where KSP had received tips of his whereabouts, but he was not located.

KSP Post 1 is continuing to search for Mr. Mahan who is entered NCIC as a wanted person.
