Joann G. Waldrop, 80 of Benton, KY died on Friday, July 13, 2018, at Calvert City Convalescent Center in Calvert City, KY.
Born Saturday, January 8, 1938 in Bergholz, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Harold Griffith and the late Gertrude Kessler Blagg.
Surviving are sons, Neil Mayzik, Sr. wife Vicky of Benton, KY, Kenneth Mayzik of Benton, KY, Jimmy Waldrop of Lenoir, TN, Kelly Waldrop of Chattanooga, TN; daughter, Penny Hobbs and husband Leon of Calvert City, KY; sister, Trudy Blagg Ellenberger of Benton, KY; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two nieces.
A Funeral service will be at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Collier Funeral Home located at 211 West 5th Benton, Kentucky 42025.
Interment will be in Houser Cemetery, Benton, KY.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, July 16, 2018, at Collier Funeral Home,
