Mrs. Dian Tubbs Gore, age 74 of Benton, KY died on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Gore was a member of New Zion Baptist Church. She was retired from Mattel.
Born Wednesday, May 17, 1944 in Benton, KY, she was the daughter of the late Wilburn “Monk” Tubbs and the late Myrtle (Cornwell) Tubbs Swink.
Surviving are daughters, Cheryl Gibbs of Hardin, KY, Lisa Beard of Benton, KY, Darlene Watkins of Benton, KY, Marlene Devine of Calvert City, KY, brothers, Eddie Tubbs of Benton, KY, Danny Toby Tubbs of Benton, KY, Don Tubbs of Benton, KY, and 9 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Junior Curtis “Gooch” Gore.
A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 22, 2018 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Rev. Rodney Wallace and Dale Taylor officiating.
Interment will follow in Gore Cemetery, Benton, KY.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, June 21, 2018, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
