Mr. Billy D. McGregor, age 84 of Calvert City, KY died on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at Oakview Nursing & Rehab Center in Calvert City, KY. He attended Twin Lakes Worship Center and was a veteran of the US Army. He was retired from CC Metals and Alloys where he worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator.
Born Sunday, December 17, 1933 in Marshall County, KY, he was the son of the late Wendell McGregor and the late Lorene (Phelps) McGregor.
Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Betty (Hayden) McGregor of Calvert City, KY, sons, Mickey McGregor, wife Tammy of Calvert City, KY and Ricky McGregor, wife Donna of Cynthiana, KY, brother, Melvin “Mac” McGregor of Cold Springs, TX, sister, Carol Burkeen of Sebastian, FL; 2 grandchildren, Erin Simpson of Winchester, KY, Amanda
Gannon on Nicholasville, KY; and 1 great-grandchild, Olivia Simpson.
A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Rev. Jeremy Short officiating.
Interment will follow in Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY.
