Mr. Daryle Todd Root, age 52 of Calvert City, KY died on Friday, May 25, 2018, at his home. He was a warehouse manager for the Kentucky State Penitentiary and was retired form the US Coast Guard.
Surviving are his wife, Amy (Martin) Root of Calvert City, KY, Sharon Gayle (Nixon) Holeman of Madisonville, KY, sons, Shelby (Caitlyn) Root of North Carolina, Colby Root of Alabama, Gabe Garza of Connecticut, daughters, Rhena Beth Root of Alabama, Alyssa Root of Calvert City, KY, brothers, Bruce (Joanne) Root of South Carolina, Mark (Julie) Martin of Florida, grandchild, Samuel Root of North Carolina, niece, Morgan Root of South Carolina, Sophie Martin of Florida, nephews, Matthew Root and Michael Root of South Carolina, and fathers and mother-in-law, Duane Martin of Florida and Frank and Gloria Prioli of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his father, Daryle Wayne Root.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at the Moors Pavilion, Moors Camp Hwy, Gilbertsville, KY 42044.
