Mrs. Tennie Irene Dietsch, age 95 of Calvert City, KY died on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at Calvert City Convalescent Center. She was a homemaker and member of Vaughn’s Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Born Tuesday, September 19, 1922 in McKenzie, TN, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Patrick Smith Jr. and the late Ollie (Dinwiddie) Smith.
Surviving are sons, Alan Dietsch, wife Janet of Calvert City, KY, Steven Dietsch, wife Ruthie of Cunningham, KY; 6 grandchildren, Lynne Fisher, Denise Stakey, William Dietsch, Clinton Dietsch, David Dietsch, Abigail Dietsch; and 7 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leland Lester Dietsch, brothers, Patrick Smith, Carlton Smith, Joseph Oliver Smith, Rev. Billy Thomas Smith, and sisters, Helen Smith Cunningham and Erlene Smith Goodwin.
A Graveside Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Marshall Co. Memory Gardens located at Hwy U.S. 641 North Benton, KY 42025 with Dr. Jim Ewing officiating.
Interment will follow.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, May 14, 2018, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
