Benton, KY (May 9, 2018) Kentucky State Police arrested Amanda R. Powell, 40 of Benton, KY for Theft By Unlawful Taking Over $10,000.00. The arrest is a result of an investigation into the theft of $20,000.00 from U.S. Bank located in Benton, KY. At the time of the theft Ms. Powell was employed at U.S. Bank in Benton, KY. Kentucky State Police Detective Brian Hill presented the case to the Marshall County Grand Jury on Tuesday, May 9, 2018. The Grand jury returned a true bill on the case and an indictment warrant was issued. Ms. Powell was arrested without incident and lodged in the Marshall Jail. The investigation is continuing by Kentucky State Police Detective Brian Hill.
