Mrs. Hilda Cox, age 89 died on Thursday, May 3, 2018, at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY. She was a member of Sand Hill Baptist Church and was retired from Florsheim Shoe Company where she worked for 40 years.
Born Friday, July 13, 1928 in Graves County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Bedford and Nora Bell (Shelton) Bazzell.
Surviving are her daughter, Bobbie Borders, husband William of Benton, KY, 2 grandchildren, Lorie Clark, husband Brent of Benton, KY, Crystal McClain, husband Brian of Benton, KY, 6 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Byron Woodrow “Whit” Cox, 7 brothers, and 4 sisters.
A Funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Rev. Ricky Cunningham officiating.
Interment will follow in the New Sand Hill Cemetery, Graves County, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Collier Funeral Home.
