Joe F. McKinney, 78 of Benton, died on Thursday, May 3, 2018, at his home. He was the owner of McKinney Construction and was a member of Friendship Church of Christ.
Born Monday, December 11, 1939 in Smithland, he was the son of the late Clarence McKinney and the late Bennie McKinney.
Surviving are his wife, Phyllis McKinney of Benton, daughter, LaZonda Pulk of Paducah, and brother, Ricky McKinney of Paducah.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and two sisters.
A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Joey Glisson and Charles Taylor officiating.
Interment will follow in Edwards Cemetery in Benton.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. at Collier Funeral Home, Benton.
