Shirley Ann Davis, 68 of Hardin, died on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at her daughter’s home. She was a retired nurse for Fern Terrace in Murray, and was a member of Horse Branch Church of God.
Born Tuesday, July 12, 1949 in Spring Lick, she was the daughter of the late Henry Duncan and the late Leora (Hayes) Prater.
Surviving are sons, Jeffrey Duncan of Joliet, Illinois and Lawrence Charles E’Akels of Atlanta, Georgia, daughters, Julia Lopez of Benton, and Sheila Smith of Dexter, brother, Bedford Duncan of Tennessee, 5 sisters, 17 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John Riley Davis, five brothers, and three sisters.
A Graveside funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Ford Cemetery, Benton, with Rev. Darwin Duncan officiating.
No public visitation is scheduled.
