Dewayne Oxford, 68, of Benton, died Saturday, April 28, 2018, at his residence in Benton. Oxford was a retired cowboy for Deseret Ranches and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Calvert City.
He was the son of the late Wade Oxford Jr. and the late Mickie Williams Oxford. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Jeanie Oxford, and one sister, Stephanie Timm.
He is survived by his wife Edna Johnson Oxford of Benton; three sons: Billy Oxford of Benton, Bryan Oxford of Okeechobee, Florida, and Brien Chamness of Brandenton, Florida; and seven grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, Benton, where the family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 3, 2018. Funeral service will be at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at noon, Friday, May 4, 2018, with Nick George officiating.
