Francis Lorene Jones Henson, 89 of Benton, passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018, at Lake Way Nursing & Rehabilitation in Benton, with her children by her bedside. She was a homemaker and long-term care nurse. She was also a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church and a member of the Eastern Star of Benton.
Born December 27, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Hershel and Myrtle (Howard) Jones.
She is survived by son Steve Henson of Gilbertsville, daughters, Evelyn Smith, Carolyn Holland and Pamelia Warmath, all of Benton; sister, Roma Morris of Benton; 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 11 step great-grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Murel Henson, brother Tullus Jones, sister, Ruby Woods, great-grandson, Alex Jones, and great-great granddaughter, Audrey Lynn Woodruff.
A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. in Benton with Rev. Glenn Cope officiating.
Interment will follow in the Price Cemetery, Benton.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Collier Funeral Home.
