Evelyn Marie Vaughn, 92 of Benton, died on Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray.
Born Wednesday, January 6, 1926 in Benton, she was the daughter of the late Ruble Cope and the late Kada Lyles Cope. She was the wife of the late James “J.L” Vaughn.
She is survived by her daughter, Kay Ferguson and husband Burman of Puryear, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Missy Goins (Derek), James Vaughn, Steve Ferguson (Cindy), Ricky Ferguson; and six great grandchildren, Brayden Goins, Julian Vaughn, Jennifer Ferguson, Teresa Collins, Tosha Ferguson, and Brooke Ferguson.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Jimmy “Hoss” Vaughn and Ronnie Cope Vaughn, and brothers, Darall Cope and Mason Cope.
A graveside service will be at 12:00 PM on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Benton Cemetery with Rev. Jim Edwards officiating. There will be no public visitation.
