Marshals rally in the sixth in 7-4 win over Calloway County

Calloway County scored two runs in the first inning on a 2-run single by Jonathan Kuykendall and one in the third on a solo home run by Lofton Pigg to lead the Marshals 3-0 before they put up their first run of the game in the fifth on a ground ball by CJ Johnson.

The Lakers went up 4-1 in the sixth on a bases loaded walk by Tyce Stalls but the Marshals took the lead and the win with a 6-run sixth inning that began with two outs. The scoring came on a 1-run single by Austin Stockdale, bases loaded ground ball by Ty Buchmeier who reached on an error, bases loaded walk by Cole Griggs, bases loaded walk by Dawson Smothers and bases loaded walk by Dalton Andersson.

The Marshals improve to 6-4 and will play the Lakers again on Thursday at Calloway County.
