CFS Serve-a-thon focusing on Marshall County community

Sophomores Anya McCombs, Emma Alexander, sophomore home room teacher Stepheni Bivin, Maggie Choate, and Lexi Hovekamp deliver goodie bags and baskets to the MCHS staff.

On Thursday, March 15th, Christian Fellowship school eighth grader students and sophomore class worked serving their community for the 13th annual CFS Serve-a-thon. Together they made 85 goodie bags and six baskets for Marshall County High School and Board Office employees, delivered by the sophomore class.  Later in the afternoon, the sophomore class volunteered at Need Line in Murray and the eighth graders volunteered at Haven of Hope in Benton. The month of March is set aside as a time of service and community outreach. Each class chooses a project or a group to serve.

Sophomores Carson Martin, Abigail Cima, Jaycie Jackson, Boaz Burnett, and Wesley Manning deliver goodie bags to teachers at Sharp Elementary that were directly impacted by the tragedy at MCHS.
