Rylee Teague and Matthew Langhi advanced from the local Elks Hoop Shoot to the district competition in Madisonville, both moving on the state competition in Frankfort. The two won their divisions and advanced from the state competition on Feb. 10 to Saturday’s Region 9 round in Paris, TN.
Both in the 8-9 age division, Langhi placed third in the region in a shoot-off while Teague took first in a three-round shoot-off and will advance to the Elks National Hoop Shoot in Chicago, IL April 21.
