Milosh ‘Mike’ Shoukletovich

Mr. Milosh “Mike” Shoukletovich, 85, of Benton, died on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, at Christian Care Center in Kuttawa.

Born on Easter Sunday, March 27, 1932 in Chicago, Ill., he was a man of many talents and gifts. He retired after 25 years from the Veterans Administration as a Psychiatric Social Worker. He graduated with honors from Washington University in St. Louis, read for the blind, was a Baptist Minister for many years during the 1960s and was also a DJ on the radio going by the name of “Mike Stone”. His greatest achievement, was not only his family but helping Veterans in their time of need. Everyone he met he made feel like they were the most special person in the world. He was a Veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War.

Mr. Shoukletovich is survived by his wife Shirley (Bell) Shoukletovich of Benton; daughter, Susan Fowler husband Gary of Marion, Ill.; sons, Mark Shoukletovich wife Tiffany of Plainfield, Ill., and Shawn Shoukletovich wife Toni of Marion, Ill.; step-daughters, Kennae Fenton of Eddyville and Denise Burnett of Paducah; brother, Daniel “Dan” Stone wife Linda of Norwalk, Calif.; seven grandchildren, Jessica Corzine and Husband Doug, Karon Fowler, Kristen Fowler, Brittani Shoukletovich, Brianna Shoukletovich, Mallory Shoukletovich and Madison Shoukletovich; eight step-grandchildren, Dustin Burnett, Kayla Fires, Seth Hendricks, Lindsey Hendricks, Matthew Robertson, Dakota Robertson, Emily Krak, and Samantha Gerrero; 11 great-grandchildren, Cassie, Cameran, Chandon, Luke, Mason, Zayah, Calvin, Zoey, Camdon, Brady and Jaylee; special nephew John Stone and wife Jackie and special friend Jennifer Adams of Paducah.

Mr. Shoukletovich was preceded in death by his parents, the late Very Reverend Doushan and Boyana (Petrovich) Shoukletovich; step-daughter Johnna Robertson and step son-in-law David Burnett.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018, in the chapel of Collier Funeral Home with Chaplain Mike Doan officiating. Entombment with military honors will follow in Brooks Memorial Gardens in Paducah, KY.

Visitation will be held between the hours of 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 W 5th St., Benton, KY 42025.
