Mr. Lee Roy Clark, age 77 of Benton, KY died on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at the Rudd Lung and Heart Center in Louisville, KY. Born Friday, June 21, 1940 in Benton, KY, he was the son of Elias and Gertie (Mathis) Clark. He retired from Continental General Tire Company. He was a man of many talents. He worked for Phillips Chevrolet, Leon Riley Ford and also owned his own body shop. He could do anything put before him. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed listening to Gospel Music, working on old guns, and purchasing/repairing antique clocks. The most dear thing to his heart was his family. He is survived by his wife, Pat (Mann) Clark whom he met in the Summer of 1968 and was married June 27, 1970.
He is survived by his wife Pat Clark of Benton, KY, son’s Jeff Clark of Benton, KY, Jon Clark wife Dawn of Benton, KY, sister, Lovella Pace of Hardin, KY, six grandchildren, Codie Lee Clark wife Shelby, Samuel Clark, Hope Clark, Tylar Clark, Chasse Clark and Joseph Jun Clark and one great-great grandchild, Owen Lee Clark and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his parents, one son Greg Clark, sisters, Pearline Trimble, Nell Clark, Alma Battoe, Erma Callahan, Betty Jean Broughton and brothers Joe Clark and Toy Clark.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 in the chapel of Collier Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Union Ridge Cemetery.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 W 5th St., Benton, KY 42025.
